What is it?

The Module One is a single-piece press-fit bottom bracket that completely solves creaking and reduces friction by mounting the drive-side and non-drive-side bearings in a lightweight aluminium casing that installs from the drive side.

A press-fit bottom bracket is different from a threaded bottom bracket. For threaded bottom brackets, bearings are screwed into the frame. In a press-fit design, the bearings are pushed directly into the frame.

This design allows for the use of larger diameter spindles, which can increase stiffness and improve power transfer while also reducing the overall weight of the bike.

Why It’s Better

Say goodbye to the annoying creaking caused by poorly fitting two-piece bottom brackets. Module One is a sleek one-piece design that eliminates individual movement in the frame, providing unparalleled stability under intense pedalling.

This pioneering feature effectively minimises noise and wear, guaranteeing a seamlessly smooth ride with every pedal stroke.

Simplified Maintenance

The Module One standard offers distinct advantages due to its durable metal Press-Fit, with most options on the market sliding together over a central tube.

Module One operates with a single-piece shell, meaning bearings are pressed into the shell with perfect alignment each time.

With our tooling included with each purchase, the product is designed around the at-home mechanic.

Best-In-Class Engineering

While the mechanical advantages of Module One are simple, the machining process that makes them possible is not. This is a cycling component crafted in the Formula One way. It has been manufactured with extremely tight tolerances, using premium processes to ensure superior precision.

Our focus on detail delivers top-notch performance and durability, raising the bar for cycling components.

Discover the difference with the Module One bottom bracket.

Your Choice of Bearing Seals

Contact Bearing Seals

(DD)

For Performance Durability

Non-Contact Bearing Seals (VV)

For The Target Event

Contact (DD) Seals

Contact (DD) seals are better for year-round riding and lower maintenance because the seal is in contact with the inner race of the bearing.

This makes it extremely difficult for contaminants like dust, dirt, and moisture to reach the inner parts of your bearing whilst doing an excellent job of sealing lubricants inside your bearing.

*Contact seal bearings are advisable if you race and train on the same bike.

Non-Contact (VV) Seals

Non-contact (VV) bearing seals are recommended for racing bicycles that are regularly serviced. Non-contact seals do offer lower friction but are also a less robust barrier to dirt and water.

They should be considered consumable-like.
